Pennon Publishing was formed in 2001 with two founding directors – Allan Cornwell and Bev Friend. Together they have more than 45 years’ experience in all facets of the book and publishing industry.

Allan is the creative and design director, and has been producing books for more than 25 years.  He can assist with building an image that will suit a company or individuals need which is reflected in the jacket artwork as well as the total package of the book and building other products for the range. Allan has authored and illustrated many of his own works as well as for others.

Bev has more than 19 years in the book industry and more than 25 years in business management and marketing.  She has experience at a senior level in book buying and marketing for Myer Grace Bros, Angus and Roberston Book sellers, and in publishing as General Manager of a small niche publisher - Information Australia.   Bev also has extensive knowledge marketing, public relations and distribution within the book industry.

Bev now focuses on helping people get published and build their profile and market themselves through publishing.  She believes a book can be your best business card.  She is often sought after as a consultant to the industry, and works as a literary agent to some of Australia’s leading authors.
